Everton (A) Pre Match Thread

Do we reckon Aguero is capable of playing 3 games in a week and still being able to press Chelsea with intensity? I can’t work out in my mind whether we should start Aguero in both matches and hope he can still put the miles in against Chelsea, or whether we take advantage of Jesus’ goal scoring form and start him tomorrow?

Either is acceptable, I just can’t decide which gives us the best chance of winning both games. We need Aguero at 100% for Chelsea.

I think kun has to start being the main striker and after scoring a hattrick, I wouldn't say he would be happy dropping to the bench for any reason

Tomorrow is a big game karen,in the sense if we win we can go top on goal difference and also the psychological pressure on the red scousers of us being top ..but I know what you mean by it..

I know what you mean as well,gabby can easily cope with tomorrow but in the really big games i prefer a pure goalscorer who can make something out of nothing and that is sergio

Anyone know why this has been moved however Chelseas game hasn't? I assumed it's because there are no free game weeks with us being in 4 comps but so are Chelsea? Surely they should be playing their fixture this midweek too.

Would have been a bit unfair to Brighton
to play Chelsea away tomorrow
and also a cup replay at West Brom at 8:05pm ... ;-)

Purely guesswork but I’m sure both sides would have to agree to this and even if Chelsea did which is debatable given they play us away on Sunday, I don’t think Brighton would when they have a huge game against Burnley on Saturday at home. I think we are taking a bit of a gamble to be honest and had we know Liverpool would throw 4 points away in 2 games we may not have done. Have to win these next 2 games.
