Would not risk Gundo in this if there is any doubt on his fitness.

Ederson
Cancelo Dias Stones Zinchenko
Rodri Foden Bernardo
Torres Jesus Sterling
Don't see him leaving Laporte out how can he, would send out the wrong message, Zinchenko unfortunately will miss out imo just down to height in the Everton team, I wouldnt be suprised to see Cancelo in midfield?

Ederson
Stones Dias
Walker Laporte
Rodri
Cancelo Bernardo
Mahrez Sterling
Jesus

-------------------------Ederson
---Walker----------------Dias----------------Laporte
----------------Rodri---------------Cancelo
Mahrez---------------Gündogan---------------Sterling
-------------Bernardo------------Ferrán

2-1 win
Can we stop with the total and utter nonsense of including Gundo in starting 11.

Even if his injury is minor he won’t be risked

Tough on Laporte, but Dias is just a better defender imo and Zinchenko is in the form of his life so I would not rest/drop him. Good call though moving Cancelo into midfield to cover for the injured.Gundo

Good question. As Laporte has just played two in a row, he might get rested for Dias and I'd probably bring him back in.

But then the real decision would come the game after with Arsenal, as it would be Stones' turn to rotate. For me he's the most undroppable defender on form.

It will be interesting to see how Pep manages three WC CBs.
3 high class CBs - WC is only a little stretch currently, but still a stretch.

Personally to be WC I think you have to have multiple seasons at the level we're seeing - just my opinion though.

I'm curious if the players who barely played or did not play last game will play this one.

I always feel nervy against Everton, not as much as Tottenham, but still nervy.

I could see Mahrez, Ferran and Dinho getting in for rotation, but lately Pep just picks the strongest he sees in training, and think that approach will be the same here, as Pep says "Your tired, fuck you".

Fair point. But one could ask how many more PL titles do Stones and Laporte need to be considered WC? They've been part of runs like this before and have silverware to back up their ability.

Dias has certainly performed to a WC standard while in blue but does need another year at the level he's shown.
