Just looking at Evertons results this season and one thing jumps out. They have a very good record against the better sides and are incredibly poor against the lesser sides.

They have beaten Chelsea, Leicester, wolves spurs and arsenal
drawn to Liverpool and United
yet lost to Fulham and Newcastle.

suggests to me they are more effective when they are able to counter attack which will obviously suit them on Wednesday. Gonna be a really tough game can see a draw.

Forgot about all them results for them. I'll be delighted to come away from here with a win. The incentive is there though for the lads, stretch that lead into double figures.

they also lost at home to Utd when they were at their lowest point....still waiting for someone to call it a bogey ground........

Everton had a really tough game against Spurs, you can see they still hadn't recovered at the weekend (a bit like Spurs). Considering they played at the weekend, it will be hard for them to have recovered by now. I think the same plan we executed against Spurs will be on the menu here, take them into deep water with short passing that constantly keeps them moving.

Everton 17/2 to win. Which for a team playing at home that could go 4th if they win the games in hand is incredible odds really.
