Well, Laporte is starting 3rd in row and John is left on the bench again. Could be because Cancelo is on the left. It would be strange to have zero left footed players in the back 4.
no concerns either. They all can do the job.

You come across as absolutely pathetic. We have won our last 16 games and we rotated for each and every one.

Squad harmony and squad fitness is vital. You want to play the best team every 3 days. What are you going to do when half of them break down for a few months? You’re going to rely on players that aren’t sharp and aren’t motivated as they already disrespect you and are secretly looking for a new club? Is that what you would prefer? Because it sounds like it.

I saw Zinchenko the other day was saying how the togetherness in the squad is like it was for the centurions season. Rotation and keeping everyone feeling a part of it is what creates that.

If we are to keep this strong squad together then he must keep them all happy. Agree that the best in form should start but with 2 games a week is that possible?

On top of this, competition for places is important. It separates the wheat from the chaff.
 
I agree it’s harsh on Stones but I think it’s more to do with it effectively being 3 at the back, Pep will have wanted Walker’s pace in the team tonight.
