Content with that lineup. Couple of decent bench options and kdb should have some targets with savinho and marmoush. Going to be a tough game but no excuses for not winning here.
Nice to see McAtee rewarded again. Oh wait.

Pep reverting back from a goal threat with incisive movement to a player who plays backwards.

Just when I thought we’d hit a turning point after last week and his comments yesterday!
Savinho is clearly the one in for Mcatee.

Mcatee not really been ripping up trees when he’s been given the chance has he ?

Perfer McAtee to Bernie. It's puzzling the way Pep treats McAtee
Fluffed a few chances but got in the right positions last game. Thought the goal would have been enough but obviously not. Sure hell get involvement off the bench.

Comes after Pep saying he wants to keep him as well.

Definitely been taken out the limelight. We saw his quality but the media didn't and that's why he has been taken out in my opinion.
You're mental if you actually think pep is taking a player out of the side because the media might not have picked up on potential yet. Just a crazy suggestion when you think about what you're suggesting there.

I'd have him in the side personally but I can understand why he's not. Until he learns enough English to communicate properly, it's a risk playing him. we have Dias and gvardiol who are proven top players and seem to be settling into a good partnership and we have midfielders playing as inexperienced fullbacks in Nunes and O'Reilly infront of a second choice keeper. adding more inexperience into that backline is asking for trouble.

It's absolutely impossible to call our games this season due to the constant lack disruption through injuries.

Bernardo starting. Another Zero threat
Not always. But this season hasn’t been great.

I’d say the combo of Nunes and Bernie is better than Bernie and Lewis though. Nunes can overlap and allow Bernie to almost play RCAM like when he played his best football out wide with Walker behind him. Gets him involved more and those line breaking runs.

Not sure if serious, goodison in the 80s was as bad as it got!
A quick Google, or a better memory than mine might prove me wrong, but I seem to recall that we often used to play them around Christmas?

I really don't recall them as being particularly nasty encounters, perhaps, and this is pure conjecture, a lot of the time it depended how you travelled to the game? We used to go by car most of the time, but I would occasionally go to away games with the Blackpool OSC, and thinking about it, these tended to be more fractious encounters.

Not just Everton, but in general...including one Boxing Day when we played at Stoke, it was a fancy dress day and the locals seemed to resent the sight of people enjoying themselves.
