Yeah well still he's got 5 league goals, decent from him especially when he's played mostly out of position as a 6 and far better than the rest of our midfielders, he also can play some forward passes between the lines, the less said about Bernie the better, but hopefully he'll shut me up today.

I'd have had him in the XI, for his ability to retain possession of the ball. And his skill at "winning" (!) free kicks.

He’s a constant goal threat because of his movement and habit of being in the right place at the right time. That’s something we’re missing. IMO anyway.

I accept he occasionally pops up in right place at right time but also goes missing for periods. I know many get frustrated by doku and savinho poor end product but they are generally more involved and exciting too watch.

Whilst I wouldn't have picked Bernardo based upon his form this season, the fact is he's one of our senior players with a remarkable track record. We don't know if he'll be here next season, but his leadership might be important going forward if he is. I'd rather McAtee to be honest, but there is a pecking order in the squad
