Been nowhere near the post match spurs thread as I could guess what's going to be in there but, I see some fans need a fanny wipe in this thread too.

Was a once a season game for both teams on Saturday....won't happen again.

Thank god for a sane comment to many bed wetters on here. 26 games played 3 defeats 3 draws 20 wins. Impressive in my book. The run in will start Saturday evening

I think Everton will suffer a backlash off our boys

I actually think they are in grave danger of being relegated. They remind me of City teams that have been relegated who you know are better than the teams around them but are just in a huge rut and can't get out of the losing habit and with every defeat the nerves and the pressure build until they're staring into the abyss and its too late to do anything about it

Is there any chance you can do the Everton team talk before kick off?

More importantly we need to play with 4 defenders not 2, I don't really care who they are but FFS play 2 full backs at full back, not as wingers.

I agree,hence why i want Stones back in the 4 too.The tactics deployed,and the staggering naivety shown,was mindblowing.

Spurs mugged us at the start of the season, and we go and allow it to happen again....

Maybe. But the landscape has altered dramatically over the last month. At that time many on here were already celebrating winning the league. The dippers already well behind would only drift further away with their big players off to Africa. But fast forward and they are at our door getting ready to knock it down. If we were playing them not Everton on Saturday I think we would lose badly. Thankfully we don't face them for another 6 weeks when hopefully the tide will have turned back in our favour again. But if you watched the way we lost against Spuds you should be just a little bit concerned.

12 points was a false narrative though. With games in hand I don't think it was ever that.I could be wrong but I think our largest actual gap was 8 points.

Edited to add I think it was eight points. Our draw at Southampton and losing to Spurs means we're down to three.

A nice easy 0-4 win would be nice.
I was raging on Saturday. Not felt like that after a game for a while.
