The thing is, i've only just realised i can make the game on saturday, but i can't get my ticket from the stadium cause i live in shrewsbury, just wonderin' if they'll go to the door at everton?... i'll lose out on points but i wanna' go now...

I fucking hate Everton - always have.
Peoples Club me arse...
Shitty ground, inferiority complex (justified), shite fans who are the worst away fans by a mile - never turn up and when they do they all just sit there like dummies, 2 songs (both consisting of one word - I'll let you guess)...Howard Kendall, Stanley Park, David moaning twat Moyes, 1-0 Cahill header, Phil Adams family Neville..
Think I best go for a lie down..
Come on Blues..

Oh yeh - Pink kit....WTF....
Inferiority complex? Think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself mate, itll take a long time for you to buy the success we've had. Maybe then we'll have an inferiority complex.
As for support, considering you're struggling to sellout a 3pm on a saturday so close to your city, in your best season for years. Whereas we comfortably sold out ona monday night shows that our support cant be that awful doesnt it?

Anyway no hard feelings hey matey, i always look forward to man city away. Nice City, decent boozers and we always seem to win!!

If we are struggling to sell out for once then it's clearly due to recent and upcoming Wembley expenses, recession etc.
No hard feelings at all by the way... Mine was a rant, granted, based on (some maybe) generalisations perhaps....It's all a laugh.
You're away support isn't good at times though imho...The vast majority of times you have nowhere near sold out, at Eastlands or Maine Rd, and that isn't speculation. The amount of times I have looked at all the empty seats and said, as you commented on us, for a team 35 miles down the road etc that's surprising.....
Howard Kendall though - now any City supporter of my era has a right to slightly dislike this man to say the least - so I meant that bit..
And the 1-0 Cahill header bit
And the Pink Kits bit.
And the....

-- Wed May 04, 2011 8:19 pm --

Stanley Park,
What exactly do you hate about stanley park?bit of an oddball you lad.

If you had the experiences of stanley park I, and many other away fans have had over the years then you would know.
Those smiling wacky friendly oh so funny scousers, with knives of the same name as that fucking park waiting to jump as soon as we got off the buses..
I know, every club has it's share of idiots and they were even more prevelant in days gone by perhaps.
Still, personal experiences linked to it is why I hate that park...
Lad.

Our away support is poor what a load of nonsense. The only games Everton haven't sold out this season are Birmingham by 2 seats, and we were doing shit. Sunderland was on a monday night in november. West Ham was just after christmas at 5 30 we still took 2000. Bolton never gave us our full allocation same with Spurs. The only game I think we should of sold out that we didn't was Wolves but even then thats an expensive. City's away support is the same size as Everton's really despite the fact your doing far better in the league than us. You can maybe aim a few digs at us about our fans sitting down but that's due to tickets going to supporters clubs most of whom only attend a few games a season. It's absolute bullshit that there's been empty seats in our away end ever at either COMS or Maine Road. We always sell out at City, just like you sell out at our place.

I'm sure you're right about Stanley park, and I don't know about Howard Kendall. But you are talking bollocks about us not selling out, we have sold for the last 10 years at least, I can't vouch for before that. You're either thinking of a different club or are talking shite. We've always had very good away support numbers wise, always better than city.

For an away fan to walk through Stanley would be stupid. walk around it and you will be okay. The 80s are long gone and as long as your respectful you should be okay. Drink in the centre and chill its not much different to manchester
