Re: Biggest game of the season so far?

the defeat in the home derby has had more of an impact on the current league positions than any other game. that last gasp winner for them really got their self belief going and they have kicked on. ours took a nose dive and here we are now 12 points behind.

today is the most important game this week for us, and the next league game is just as important. one thing you got right though - if we lose it is all over, no doubt about it.

Re: Biggest game of the season so far?

every game has been the most important game of the season and that is what our team has not always realised or shown.....yet m.u. clearly have

this why we behind by 10/12 points

hope the lesson is learnt for next season

Re: Biggest game of the season so far?

There are no more big league games this season, unless the rags start dropping points again.
Biggest game will be the Semi vs Chelsea/rags. If we win that, then the FA Cup is almost definitely ours.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

I think it will be difficult today without Tevez or Aguero. We need a big performance from Edin and Nasri... I'm not confident we will get one but it'll make it more interesting.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

----------------------Hart------------------
Zabaleta----Kolo----Nasty------Kolorav
---------------Garcia------Milner-------------
Silva-----------------Yaya-------------Nasri
----------------------Dzeko------------------

This is how I think we'll roll out.

3-1 City. Yaya, Dzeko X2.

Is Tevez out?

Surely we cannot go into today with just one striker, plus Tevez is in form!

Unless Mancinin will risk Guidetti?

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

Well with tevez out I'm predicting it'll be either:

-------------Hart---------------
---Zaba - Kolo - Nasty - Clichy--
----------Yaya - Garcia---------
------Milner - Nasri - Silva-------
-------------Dzeko--------------

OR

-------------Hart---------------
---Zaba - Kolo - Nasty - Clichy--
----------Garcia - Barry---------
------Milner - Yaya - Silva-------
-------------Dzeko--------------

I'd prefer the first one just because I don't like the idea of a Barry + Garcia midfield. Or maybe have Milner back in DM with Nasri in his position.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

I just don't see City winning this match like those against likes of Arse,Sund,Stoke away ... at least if there is a change and a new approach like the match against Arsenal

so Im predicting a meltdown here after this match with the first page full of mancini, title gone, nasri, we miss de jong :), Van persie is the difference, ...
