Everton fans last night

Yes. The incident was commented on by a few on here yesterday so now we can see it. A Blue lamps a Blue who tells him he's a Blue, so they both turn around and lamp the Scouser. It's pretty comical to be honest.

What I thought was most bizarre around that random punch fest was the Blue who escorted the Everton fan up the steps whilst holding an inflatable banana in each hamd. :-)

I saw a bit of commotion in the Colin bell stand corner with the south stand. Some Everton fan giving it biggun after scoring and some lad came down the stairs to punch him. Then as the steward was trying to get the Everton fan out. Another knuckle dragger from our lot punched the city fan who punched first. After a moment of confusion the second knuckle dragger realised who was actually the Everton fan and started to punch him as he was carried out.

Fair enough that Everton fan probably should have been keeping his head down but to just punch him for basically shouting and cheering you've got to be a propa thick cnut.

Some proper idiots.

Quick question - if you punched someone in a stadium and charges were brought against you for ABH - could you go to Jail?

Like i've mentioned previously...it's a chance fans have always taken going in the home end as an away supporter and you can't complain if you get a dig...i've had loads over the years cheering for City at various grounds in the home end

Yes.
But you'd most likely get a fine and/or suspended sentence for first offence.
You could even be done for GBH if there was enough damage from the punch - e.g. a Broken nose.

Would you not get a life ban from football grounds. That has been the thing that has stamped out the vast majority of hooli’s. Cameras everywhere so you do need to be pretty stupid to think that there will not be some consequence to any blatant punching.
