We came out with intent at the beginning of the second half which immediately drained away after Haaland missed the penalty. It makes you think it would have been better if we had not been given a penalty.

We knew that Everton would equalise and Haaland to miss the penalty. Probably we knew that the end result would be 1-2 as well but at least that didn’t happen. No doubt the most boring I’ve seen us since the takeover.
