Great effort?Great effort from Pep and the players. Self entitled fans were a fucking disgrace. I also work hard for my money but I back this team when the chips are down and support them even more!!!

Did you see the Everton counter attack at the end? Complete lack of effort from the players there. We were saved by their lack of quality.Why was there booing at the end? The team didn’t stop playing and trying to win. They didn’t deserve the booing.
I wouldn’t boo, but I think we’re past saying that the team is giving 100% now.

The happy clapping types would have celebrated. That was dross. 2-1 wouldn’t have changed how bad the team is playing. Too many problems.Yet if the penalty goes in we’d be celebrating a win. Ahh the fickleness of football fans lol

Did enough to win. You cannot be missing penalties and Bernardo has to take that chance for 2-0. Different outcome if those two go our way.
Similar pattern to many games in this run -
First half:
Decent start, lots of good, controlled football and a few decent chances created. Flashes of the “old” City.
Second half:
Slow, boring, monotonous patterns of side to side recycling. Huge collective drop off in energy, desire and “oomph”.
The fitness issue is fucking diabolical. Most of them can only perform at PL level for about half an hour. I’ve been saying this for weeks but why are they so unconditioned?!
Everton’s last minute counter - they bomb forward with numbers we look like a load of 55 year old 5 a side fat fucks who smoke 30 a day.

We deserve nothing right now, Bernardo outside of the boot shot and Haaland penalty were endemic of our season. Taking things for granted and not working hard.
Always have faith in Pep, but I'm starting to think his statements about "having his players back" isn't about the injured players but the mentality of the players that are fit.
At least we play again in 3 days. Merry Christmas!
