Their two full backs on yellows after 55min and we didn’t run at. Them once after that. So many times Lewis had the opportunity to pass out to the right and he just slowed play down and passed it back

Unlike many, I was at least entertained. Maybe because my expectations were so low; holdover from the old days. Should have won comfortably but Bernie missed a wide open net, Haaland’s pen was poor and Rico could have laid off his chance to Haaland for a tap-in. Not only that but still not sure how Mylolenko was on the pitch after fouling Savinho in the area studs up. Moving Silva back to middle helped a lot. We tried to go at them and over them more and sped up play. First match in a long while where I felt we looked confident and excited to be playing. I’m no happy clapper and this is our level now which is absolute dross relative to what we have been but at least we looked like we had a spark which has been absent for basically two months.
