Everton (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Just watched the game on City+.
A few observations:
Donnarumma has made a huge difference. Dominates the 6 yd box, gives his defenders massive confidence and is actually v good with his feet. No question he’s in a different league to Trafford and a vast improvement for me on Ederson. It’s evident Dias absolutely loves him.
Nunes is looking more like at right back by the game. He does remind me a bit of Walker in his early days at City when he was prone to the odd brain fart. On Saturday he was pretty solid.
Nico O’Reilly absolutely excellent. Pep has found a top quality LB…the new Kimmich phenomenon.
Nico mini-Rodri also excellent. Growing in confidence with every game.
Savio was also v good. Got himself into fabulous positions on a regular basis but the end product isn’t quite there yet…I think it will come.
Foden looks to have slotted into KDB’s boots very nicely. Some of his passing was sublime.
Haaland just Haaland. Incredible.
All in all a very good performance especially second half vs a well drilled and organised Everton. A game we could have easily lost on past performances.
Most definitely title contenders now.

Enormous upgrade on Ederson. The bleating bitches on here when we were getting the Don was unreal. Idiots

Clean sheet and 3 points after the International break, we wont get any rhythm until after the last International break and hopefully Rodri will be back.
The biggest issue is the wingers and lack of goals and assists, both are young but there are better wingers we could purchase.
Still within 3 to 4 points going into January 2026 we have a chance of the league.
