Could we see YaYa at centre half with 2 strong deep festive midfielders?

Hope Lukaku misses out all games until February!
You have got to be kidding. Yaya cannot defend. For a tall man hes not even good in the air.

Zabaleta-Sagna-Otamendi-Kolarov
-----------Yaya-Fernandinho--------
Navas---Silva/De Bruyne---Sterling
---------------Aguero------------------

You have to pin back Everton's fullbacks in my opinion and Navas and Sterling will do that, add in the attacking threat of Zaba and Aleks and you will get their wingers working back as well.

Do you REALLY think... I mean REALLY, REALLY think you would be a better City manager than MP?

JJ
Very unlikely. However, I do think, like most city fans i did manage to spot that yaya can't play 90 minutes regularly or that a two-man midfield doesn't work very well against top notch European opponents a rather long time before our manager, sadly.

Still one can hope. My team would be Kolarov and sterling on the left, two out of fernandinho / Fernando / Delph to protect mdm, sagna / silva on the right, yaya behind Aguero, throw in a well rested de Bruyne at 60 minutes in place of yaya.

Not sure if Silva is playing well enough at the moment to justify a starting spot. Not sure about YaYa either. We certainly can't start with YaYa in anything remotely like a defensive role.

Would really like to find a place for delph as I think a run of games will do him the world of good. Also would like to see de bruyne come of the bench to make an impact if it's not working with navas. Quietly confident for this game.
