The love fest for young Oscar baffles me. As far as I can see it’s based solely on that little cameo at St James Park.

For me he’s 3rd or 4th choice for a starting spot in his position, he’s got James McAtee written all over him

I think some of the players who either weren't on international duty, or who played fewer minutes, will get the nod here. Often get tired performances after the international break, and Everton will be difficult opponents. Hoping that we'll have an almost fully fit squad to select from, but guess we'll find that out in the next few days as training pictures are released. Would be a big lift to get Marmoush, Ait-Nouri, Cherki, Khusanov and Rodri back.
