It won't happen but if twas me and they were fit...

I'd replace Dias with Stones (even though the current weak link seems to be Gvardiol but hopefully temporary)

I'd play both Nico and Rodri if fit.

I think Nunes would be as effective as either Bobb or Savinho so why not try and see him out wide.

I think Doku in the center would frighten defenders waymore than Foden.

I'd plat Foden wide too as a playmaker from outside(like Grealish). His passes in the center seem to lack clarity of thought imo. Maybe extra room outside would help. Plus I think he can also drift in from there.

I'd like to see Cherki come on at some stage.

Because Grealish carried such a goal threat for us didn't he... can't believe the stick Bernardo is getting, current form or not I'll never turn on him, he's a fucking legend and been integral to our success under Pep

Of course he was, he was a fabulous player.

Unfortunately time doesn’t stand still and he’s now rather lost and ineffective in the power and pace of the league.

I question why you would want to switch Doku and Foden. Doku and Foden are both playing well. Foden didn't score against Brentford or Monaco but he went close.

I think Cherki should come on from the bench. I would opt to continue with Bobb who needs more games after a year out. His potential is very high and I thought he played very well at Brentford in the first half.

We need goals from more areas of the pitch perhaps but I wouldn't make major changes.

I hope Foden masters the number 10 role so you are right that we should probably be patient. In the meantime I think he'll have plenty of shots but I don't think he'll create loads (hope I'm wrong).

I also think that Doku could be awesome through the middle. I think defenders would be more scared of him than Foden.

As I said it's unlikely to happen but if it was me I'd try swapping the every so often to see.

Doku is coming inside. He's making runs like Mahrez used to to do but from the left instead of the right.

I am quite happy with what I am seeing at the moment but intrigued as to what we do with Marmoush and Cherki who should shortly become available.

Totally agree on what u said about bernardo. But he offers us nothing on the right anymore just slows us down when we get to break on teams if he plays he has to play centrally for me and even that's as a back up now. We've played players for maybe 1 more season than we should have in the past due to what they did in the past. If we are to make a title push we need the best players in their positions playing and bernie only gets in as rotation against the lesser teams. (Rags etc)
 
Inside City 511 on mancity.com has some coverage of training featuring some faces I wasn't sure about. Team of the Day I think featured Mukasa, and the Heskey Brothers 15:17. Would that be right?

Doku could give the ball away too much in the centre. It’s too risky.

Great lineup for me. Gives Dias an opportunity to get a string of good performances together that hopefully started at Brentford. Nunes hasn't really done anything wrong and will be a good supporting threat for Bobb while giving Khusanov some time to rest. Bernardo is maybe the only one I'm iffy on, but it's not really anything to do with his ability and more to do with Kovacic play to get some match sharpness. He probably isn't ready to start anyway and this game could get out of hand if we don't have control.
