Start of the season Everton were a tough nut to crack at the back but they have nothing going the other way apart from maybe a pacey Gray and tenacious Gordon. If we get an early goal we should obliterate these but it could be a day for patience . 2-0 City.
They need a reaction after the Wolves game. I watched the last 15 and the Everton defenders were just playing it along the back line, Everton fans were urging for the ball to be pumped forward. Ironically when they did , Wolves went up the other end and scored . Lampord is stuck between a rock and a hard place and is starting to lose the faith of the Everton fans
Isn’t DCL back?

Alvarez is back early, fantastic attitude from the lad. Assuming no niggles, there no reason why he shouldn't be on the bench and expect to get on.

Expect rotation for this, walker, cancelo, laporte, Bernardo and foden all start

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Cancelo
Rodri
Kdb
Bernardo
Foden
Mahrez
Haaland

Palmer and alvarez to see minutes from the bench, if things are going especially well, Phillips and gomez too. Whole squad needs to be on it for what's ahead, a long and very tough set of fixtures and no wiggle room. Expecting to see us come out flying.

Our last home game we were supremely confident of stuffing Brentford so i will not dismiss Everton although their goal threat is nowhere near Brentfords , Lampard is hanging on to his job by a thread and will put ten behind the ball and settle for damage limitation.
Normally if we score early you would hope the game would open up , but Everton will defend for their lives for 90 minutes , with Coady and Tarkowski they will be difficult to break down , predict a frustrating game and a narrow 2-0 win and look forward to Chelsea who will at least try and win the game.

I expect a few changes. And a win. Why? Cause I’m visiting this one.
Enjoy, hopefully the Nordic 2nd coming delivers a cutthroat masterclass in finishing (:

Someone alluded the other night after Leeds that there may be a game in the not to distant future where he takes most of his chances, which is averaging 5 currently, that would be a nice visit I’d presume (:
