I also feel that way.
Most probably he did something stupid which Pep didn't like. There is no other explanation.

Surely the more obvious explanation is that this is what Pep does all the time. There is always a forward not getting as many minutes - and bear in mind that apart from Haaland, Foden has played more than anyone else in the front positions this season.

It could simply be that he was used a lot early season, and with the World Cup, they're managing time, and giving those that weren't at the World Cup (or didn't play as much) more time.

Foden got a chance to show what he is about against Leeds and didn't do well. In fact the withdrawal of Grealish coincided with Leeds starting to gain traction in the game. Whatever he has done/not done, he just needs to work hard and produce when he is on the pitch. Hopefully back and firing very soon.
