Like I said for a few weeks now, let's try something new. If Manu Akanji is not fit, let's play Bernardo at RB. He did well there vs Arsenal some time ago. Play this 11 and we will win. Our problems are serious, but not as bad as the results would indicate. We are making it worse with the team selection. We did beat Forrest 3-0, so Pep needs to ask himself how did we do that? What was the starting 11? I think my 11 here does the job.

Any reason why players such as McAtee can’t play instead of passengers like Bernardo. He’s scored more for us than Savio this season.

He's shit scared of them having poor games and costing us, not like the majority of this current eleven aren't doing the same is it. Piss poor from Pep not giving them a chance, it really is

I agree. He doesn’t need to throw them all in at once. He started JSP away at Brighton for example. Yes we lost the game (obviously) but would it have been any different if we’d gone for someone else in his place? With all the injuries and loss of form I expected to see more of the youngsters given a chance. He could’ve started McAtee over Bernardo yesterday for example and I’m pretty sure it won’t have made much difference but we’ll never know unless we give them a chance.

Because he doesn’t want to “put pressure” on them? Wow. Ask them if they want to play or not, I’m sure I know what the answer will be. He’d rather have Nunes messing up and playing out of position at LB. He’d rather run Gundo and Bernardo into the ground than give someone like McAtee a chance. We’ll have plenty more Rogers and Palmer situations then

If I was McAtee I’d be telling Pep I want to go out on loan in Jan to get some game time. He’s not getting a look in this season.

Everton tend to do well against Chelsea generally so they will put everything into getting a result today.

Basically I'm hoping they're too tired from today to beat us on Boxing day.
