Amazon are wankers putting us on TV at this time, they have matches all day up to 8pm, why they have to include us at 12:30 is beyond me. We haven't had a Boxing Day game in a few years then this, it's pathetic. They probably forgot that the club is based in a third world country as far as public transport goes (and a few other things…..).
If their clubs plan is to appeal to ‘fans’ outside of the locality and there are no trains running, at all, then you’re going to struggle. If Burnham then thinks no trains, an inadequate tram system and no local parking is also a good idea, they really shouldn’t be surprised that it’ll be a difficult sell.
On top of that, a 1230 kick off just about tops it off.
I’ve got a 7 hour round trip, my son now lives in Surrey and, with no trains has no chance of making it.
I’ve therefore got no idea why we persist with the Boxing Day nonsense anymore anyway.
