Far too many EFC fans gave me the impression of 'Why not us?' And a lot of the acrimony has stemmed from that. I find EFC the antidote to all the Dipper shite. We'll have to see how it pans out! But would you buy a second hand car from Bill K?
 
Don't want to put a dampner on it but isnt this the third time this season they have been in takeover talks ?

Oh and the 43rd time in the last 5 years ?
 
Hope it ends up like Malaga. Can't stand the Everton fans or their slimy manager.
 
Good luck to them. I wonder if it's a genuine investor or a Malaga style owner. Work could be fun if this is pushed through, God help the red Dippers!
 
Can't see Kenwright ever letting go. He's got a Messiah complex about Everton.

If I were an investor, I'd be buying Villa. Decent ground, big fan-base, owner desperate to sell and could easily be the biggest club in the region with reasonable investment.

Totally agree mate, Kenwright does this every few months, he's been 'selling' Everton for the last decade.

Good shout on Villa, however as desperate as Lerner is to sell, he is asking a ridiculous price for the position the club is currently in.

It's an Iranian businessman worth around 1.2 billion who made his money in steel in Russia,he just sold his £200 million stake yesterday to Alisher Usmanov who has increased his stake in Arsenal to 30%.
