Really? I didn't think he was all that great up to the CWC. Not by his high standards anyway. Then again, you could say that about a few in the squad, I suppose. There's been a marked improvement since then, though. Across the squad as a whole, not just Ruben.

i think a lot better than last season. I still think he and a fully-fit John Stones are the best partnership. I agree the squad has stepped up.
