Always liked Everton as a club except for when we play them, can’t stand Pickford’s antics when we play them. Savinho was brilliant. Mykolenko should have been sent off for the penalty challenge. Ake brilliant as always. Rest were mediocre.

The bare minimum I expect is for our players to be fitter and work harder than the opponent. He was the only one who had that today.

Thought Savinho was pretty good. I've said before that his ceiling is way higher than Doku's, who looks a very uncoordinated type.

I went for Sav. Poss his best game for us. Kept trying, nothing quite worked for him but kept trying.
In a game that gradually ran out of steam, lustre and ideas he just about gets a vote.

I missed the last twenty minutes but there were signs of improvement, with a bit of luck we could have won this 3-1 or more. What concerns me is that after a bright start, the right side of our defence was absent yet again, can’t blame Rico as he is more of a midfielder than a defender, but we need a younger version of Kyle Walker and cover for Rodri. Ake made us more solid at the back, which is why I gave him my vote, and when Dias comes back we should improve defensively. Up front we just need a bit more luck.

I’ve been thinking this for ages.
Reminds me of Van Aarnholt from a few years back when he always scored.
I’m not a fan of Gvardiol at the back.
We should just play him instead of Haaland or as the left sided forward.

Lewis - tries hard but just isn’t good enough, adds nothing
Akanji - lazy at times
Ake - played well despite not looking 100% fit
Gvardiol - decent, some nice touches

Kovacic - thought he was good
Foden - anonymous
Silva - looks done

Savinho - think we have a player here if we can iron out a few things and he can be coached
Haaland - very very poor. Bad body language and contributed nothing
Doku - will never be up to this level if he can’t link up with fellow attackers in the final third

Surprised there aren't any votes for Doku.
I watched on TV and thought he was our main attacking threat.

Doku is bloody frustrating.

He has the pace to beat anybody but keeps stopping and turning back.

Always seems to be the same pass too. Playing it inside to whoever is playing the DM role who is often on the retreat. The ball is then passed ahead of him by Josko and doesn't have the time to change and receive it allowing the opposition player to nip in ahead and set off on a dangerous counter.
