Everton post-match thread

It's not a case of supporters giving in. Supporters are desperate to win every game. This team has been folding at almost every single ground in the country and if we play anybody any good they beat us. Those are facts and real facts not Benitez facts

I always want our team to win every week, I've wanted that all the years I've supported City but it doesn't always happen. It also doesn't mean that I would ever, ever give up on the team and until we are definitely out of the competitions I won't say that in "2 weeks we will be in 2 comps"!!!

My glass has always been half full whilst supporting City through the divisions, up and down, and it will never ever be any other way. The team will do us proud. They will fight to the end, the Boys in Blue never give in.

If that is this Benitez facts (whatever that might be) then so be it, it also happens to be Eccles Blue's philosophy. :-) Sorry if that is too optimistic for some but that is how I get through the rough patches................... faith in my team, faith in our manager, faith in our fans. (Not necessarily in that order!) :-)

Lose a game, and another is just round the corner. Nothing describes long-term more adequately than support for a football team. As that long time suffering Evertonian Deggsy reminded us - Yer can change yer wife, yer can change yer religion, but yer don't change yer football team!
