Everton Post Match Thread

I can't even find it in me to get wound up. I just feel like this season is a complete write off, and that truly does wind me up as a supporter however I have a reluctant acceptance that nothing will change this season. Sorry lads, it just won't. We're plodding along with a chance at the helm who relies on individual talent. There's no urgency there and it shows within the team.

The way it's panning out, this season is purgatory. Pelle's out on his arse regardless, and couldn't inspire citykev28 coked off his tits whilst looking at the "gracious pictures of lasses thread" to start a new "corrie birds tournament" and we're hanging on because we put all our eggs in the Guardiola basket from the summer.

For a club that banged on about a holistic approach, we seem to have completely forgotten about everything that doesn't have to do with sponsors, academy and buying really expensive players. Those things such as teamwork, spirit, desire, hunger, adequate positional cover, training regimes, medical staff, a decent set of tacticians within the upper elcheons of our couching staff.

If this team had a manager and players who gave even just 10% more effort and a fuck, we'd piss this league. It's a fucking travesty that we won't.

credit when due otamendi was excellent tonight but not a word will be said, we have had a stone cold penalty turned down almost every game these last 6-7 games we need a change in fortune, we played well just couldnt get that goal, have to ask why nacho wasnt brought

The usual Sky crowd, Stelling, Nicholas, were adamant it was 100% NOT a penalty.
oh christ, i dont watch that muck. But how can they be? i dont see how it isnt a pen? what was there justification or did they just shout loads?
