Absolutely this, once we step onto the pitch every Everton fan will be roaring them on. They will be up for it so an early goal (and a West Ham win against Spurs) would be useful. Not so sure , I think their support will be a lot more muted than usual.
Reverse the situation and what would your reaction be if in a parallel situation City had nothing to play for (effectively) and by losing to another team the Rags probably miss out on the title? I know where my head would be - a City loss. Sorry but my support is tribal when it comes to the scum after suffering years of dog abuse from them.
