(1)Is Distin fit? (2)Always seem to do well against us.
1. Doesn't look like he will be.
2. Sept. 21, 2008 Manchester City 6-0 Portsmouth
"Distin, Distin, What's the score?"
If Distin is not playing they will be vulnerable from the air. Dzeko/Negredo must start imo.

Evertonians might say they don't want Liverpool to win but come kick off Saturday night that ground is going to be as intimidating as it's always been. Just pray that Komps and MDM stay fit as last thing we want is Lescott opening that can of worms again, actually can we just hide Lescott under a blanket for 90 minutes please.

Absolutely this, once we step onto the pitch every Everton fan will be roaring them on. They will be up for it so an early goal (and a West Ham win against Spurs) would be useful. I don't think their heads would drop as such but if they were behind but need to beat us and win at Hull (and hope that Arsenal don't beat either West Brom or Norwich) it may just feel to much of an uphill struggle for them. Here's hoping anyway.
Not so sure , I think their support will be a lot more muted than usual.

Reverse the situation and what would your reaction be if in a parallel situation City had nothing to play for (effectively) and by losing to another team the Rags probably miss out on the title? I know where my head would be - a City loss. Sorry but my support is tribal when it comes to the scum after suffering years of dog abuse from them.
The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

I think your right it will be a bit split in their crowd i think.

I just hope its not a flat atmosphere all round, our crowd has to get right behind the players which i know they will and it will be up to us to go on and win the game

Ticket finally arrived this afternoon, after over a week - fucking delighted (and relieved). To those saying it might be a flat atmosphere on Saturday, not in the away end it won't!

Sit back and enjoy our last away game..............................YAYA was stupendous......
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/citytv/Match-highlights/2014/April/Palace-v-City-extended-highlights" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/citytv/Match-high ... highlights</a>
I said somewhere before, it looks like Yaya has the bit between his teeth. That Palace game was the first time for a long time that he has made those gut busting runs from deep that completely bulldoze the opposition. He did it twice in one game!! I think his heart is set on carrying the team to the league. I hope so anyway!

I hope we are able to rest him more often next season. It seems like his little injury lay off has done him the world of good, he's completely fresh, for probably the first time since September.

Hopefully Barkley will be able to cover for him next season ;)

It would be completely foolish to rule out an hostile atmosphere on Saturday. However with Moyes not being in charge and Evertonians not joining in with Liverpool FC's media love in, this is the perfect opportunity to make a start in burying our Goodison Park hoodoo. They have enjoyed taking points off us at the Etihad, and our last away win was when Clueless was in charge and Everton having one eye on the FA Cup Semi Final. Fingers crossed our players will be fully focused and while we should respect their players we shouldn't fear them.

Most everton fans want us to win. But the players won't. How the hell are everton fans going to get the message across to the everton players not to play at 100% or give away a pen in the last min for a city win. I wish they could drum it into the players minds etc.

FAIR PLAY TO YOU MATE. I REMEMBER TWICE v LEEDS WHEN THEY WERE RIVALLING THE SCUM (OUR SCUM, NOT YOUR SCUM) FOR THE TITLE, SUPPORTING LEEDS AT MAINE ROAD, AND ONCE BEING AT VILLA PARK AND SUPPORTING VILLA FOR THE SAME REASON - NIALL QUINN GOT BOOED OFF AT HALF TIME BY THE CITY FANS (HE IS STILL A **** LOL) AS HE HAD PUT CITY 1-0 UP AT HALF TIME - KEITH CURLE BASICALLY PICKED THE BALL UP IN THE AREA AT THE START OF THE SECOND HALF TO GIFT THEM A PENALTY EQUALISER. I FULLY UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM, AND HAVE USED CAPS LOCKS IN EMPATHY
