we didnt actually pay them that. there were loads of little things (appearaces,goals etc) that made us pay extra, like with benjani. we actually gave them only 6-7m, and we loaned him to everton so we didt have to pay any more. still they can have him back for nout. im sure we could all pitch in a tenner for his flight

Absolute waste of space, haven't missed him at all and won't miss him at all if he goes AWOL for the rest of the season.

I knew there were add on's but I didn't realise it was as low as £6-7 million. That makes the deal slightly less laughable. No doubt it was reported as £19 million to help fool the public that Frank still had a few quid in the bank!
