I was pleasantly surprised by Man United and Spurs because I'm so used to us bottling under Martinez.Everton have irritated me this season because there have been a bunch of games where I've been desperate to call them out for being bottling bellends in key games but then by fulltime they've dragged it back and either won or drawn. It makes me feel stupid.

Sort of related, but I got a tweet notification from Calvert-Lewin and his first reply was from a Geordie making a Pickford joke. Geordies on Twitter trying to start a rivalry with Everton is just...weird. Up there with West Ham (not sure why, McCarthy hurting Payet?) and Watford (because of Silva). I know they hate Pickford, but Jordan Henderson is a Mackem too and they don't go on about him all the time. Yes, they beat us twice, doesn't make us rivals. And PICKFORD DIDN'T EVEN PLAY LAST NIGHT so why Geordies would troll Calvert-Lewin with photos of him is beyond me.
Football Twitter is so weird and depressing and it's why I only occasionally go on. Also, no, horse punchers, Everton are not the third best team in Liverpool behind Liverpool and Liverpool Women, Liverpool's women's team are in the second division. They got relegated last season. Everton's, however, are in the WSL1. If you're going to shit talk Everton, get it right.
