I mean, I can't knock the fans, to be fair. They've had to put up with their team being shite for a number of years now, and the past two seasons actually desperately battling the drop. Yet they still turn up every game, home and away, giving them their support.I get the Sunderland point. Any time they're on the box, there's plenty of empty seats visible. Which is strange, given they're supposedly a huge club, in a one club town, with a large catchment area. But you don't see many empty seats at Goodison as a rule. Yes, it's a smaller ground than the SOL, but even so. There's lots of things we can have a go at Everton for (given events of the past few years). Their attendances isn't one of them.
