We all know about the new ground, what plans for Goodison when you leave? ta
Pretty sure it's going to be kept as a community centre/ mental health hub. Talk was of bulldozing the stadium and having 130+ residential units and a care home even.

How will you feel about leaving the old place? A lot of City fans still think of Maine Road as our spiritual home. Me included. But let's be honest, the place was a mess at the end. 4 unmatched stands, not a big capacity, and no real room around it for extending (hemmed in all around by housing and that school behind the Kippax). The move was necessary. And Goodison is in the same boat. It's an atmospheric ground, but it's a tip.

We had brilliant floodlights at Maine Road, though!

He's on the spectrum,no doubt.
Have said it all along. He certainly shows lots of OCD traits. He used to be constantly touching the goalposts or his boots, or rubbing his feet on the floor. You could see him muttering things to himelf and he was always playing with his hands. Teams would attack and sometimes it looked as if he waited to move, as if something was holding him back? Maybe he was trying to control the compulsions? I know he had some sort of counseling a couple of years back and his antics seemed to have lessened since. I cannot say he has OCD for sure, or that he is on the spectrum. But I have thought based OCD and I spotted his traits as soon as he joined us. My boy is also autistic and ADHD, and he can show OCD trait even though he does not have OCD as the conditions are linked. Jordan certainly has something and I think he has taken help to control it in some way. If you meet him he is lovely to chat with, yet (like me) he can zone out and be distracted very easily. Good keeper though even if he scares the death out of me at times.

Mental health hub, very appropriate, hope it's big enough!

I still have sleepless nights from the FA Cup quarter Final there in the 80s, Power equalised late on and after the game was utter carnage and mayhem.

A mixture of sadness and happiness. Being of a certain age some of my greatest memories were spent there. Depends what they do with the BMD area re moving there. Walton is a pure shithole and apart from the game not an area you would ever visit. They need decent outlets re food and drink and hopefully after a few years it will feel more homely. Much better option than the Kirkby one as the ground should still remain in the city area
