If I was one of the two main bidders for United, I’d be looking at this situation, looking at Everton’s new stadium and thinking, ‘fuck these Rag cunts, let’s go for Everton!’

Yep. Said it since day 1. Huge potential for revenue growth and additional potential for legendary status relegating Liverpool to second best team in their "own" city.

Limited options on the striker loans , can't think any of the relegated sides have anyone they would ship out to save on wages for a year but would imagine Chris Wood (1 in 3 for Dyche) is available on loan from Newcastle as forest won't want him , or Broja from Chelsea if he is fit again but you might end up with 2 strikers with fitness question marks.

Vardy is out of contract I think. He fell of a cliff last year goals wise though and may be heading USA.

For a club of Everton's size and stature its a shocking situation and some disgraceful mistakes made by a totally inept board. Guess you just got to hope DCL stays fit and finds form !!!

J-Lingz!

And so to the elephant in the room. Why is no-one asking these questions of the United takeover?
Everton are ripe for takeover. They have a famous brand, a new stadium, large fan base, cheap land to develop in Liverpool. They would be cheap to buy and could leverage some opportunities by threatening their famous local rivals. Lots of people hate LFC and want to be different to them. It is a huge marketing opportunity for the Liverpool region as well.
