That Harry Ramsdens in Bournemouth is a franchise owned one and is fucking dire - you'd be better off buying the frozen stuff from Iceland ( probably what they use ) and cook it at home. There they do such dodgy practices as when thye close they save the unsold chips and refry them for the first covers in the morning
Chez Fred which appears to have a good reputation locally I don't really rate highly either. Best one I found is the one just down from Pokesdown Station heading towards Southbourne. Not sure this belongs in an Everton thread, but more appealing than the shower of shite that plays for them :-)

I went the Manchester one ages ago and wasn't impressed. Also, uggggghhhhh.

Everton struggling to finance their stadium and borrowing money from a very obscure lender according to this:

Wonder if the usual suspects who are so quick to jump on any perceived financial chicanery involving us will be all over this?
If you mean the team whose name begins with 'Liver' and ends in 'pool', they will. They are obsessed with our finances and our new stadium, I think some of their fans might have even tried to stop it being built or tried to find legal grounds to contest it. As for why we're getting BM, Goodison is kind of a dump and has limited views and is literally made of wood. It's a rickety old stadium. Whether BM will ultimately be finished I don't know.

I can't imagine why they even want to be building a bigger stadium. They can't even fill Goodison.
You'd struggle to get a ticket for an everton game - home or away. Depending on a possible new stadium novelty response we could reasonably expect to sell out a 45-50k stadium. Problem is the funding and repayments aspect of it, along with which division we are in. We have had 2 failed stadium moves and you could argue that the move is about 15 years too late.
The fact it is happening is amazing in itself with our board and I still expect a few twists and turns.
