I said exactly that to Mrs Vienna on Saturday. It all reminds me so much of the Swales era.

I can still clearly remember so-called experts questioning whether Bobby could manage "all those egos" of the expensive players City bought, though I don’t recall any of them admitting that they’d got it wrong, and we’d spent the money well.It just goes to show with everton, that spending money is the easy bit. Theyve spent a hell of a lot of money on utter pap
People go on about city just spending, and how easy it is when you can buy anyone u like.
But actually, spending is easy peasy, its buying the right players (right in many ways) thats the very hard bit
Had some one say to me the other day (a red obviously) “oh pep will just go out and buy a few more players”. Its as though its as easy as that!I can still clearly remember so-called experts questioning whether Bobby could manage "all those egos" of the expensive players City bought, though I don’t recall any of them admitting that they’d got it wrong, and we’d spent the money well.
Watching whats happening is making me re-live what happened at City all those years ago
I see thus ending only one way
Or, winning 5-2 on the last day*, and still getting relegated? With players taking the ball to the corner flag when they actually need a goal? ;)
Ironically, I think Everton will get the chosen one sacked on Saturday.
Agreed. Can't see Everton down there.Be more likely Moyes gets Lampard the sack.
Yeah, I like Vinny and I'd be happy to have him but he's doing such a good job at Burnley, I doubt he'd want to leave.Sad as it is I doubt he'd leave Burnley for us under the current regime. There's a lot more to come out about them, lots of things don't add up and they can only contain the positivity in the media for so long
I think Vincent has higher ambitions than Burnley.Yeah, I like Vinny and I'd be happy to have him but he's doing such a good job at Burnley, I doubt he'd want to leave.

A chairman who hasnt a clue, has stayed long after he shouldve gone.
Big money wasted time after time on dross
A crumbling stadium.
Players that seemingly dont care
Bad managerial appointments , one after the other
I see thus ending only one way
I think so, too.Frank will soon be heading down south permanently.
And that's the worrying thing for Everton fans. They know there's more shit being covered up but haven't a clue what it might be.Sad as it is I doubt he'd leave Burnley for us under the current regime. There's a lot more to come out about them, lots of things don't add up and they can only contain the positivity in the media for so long
I think as a club we are not geared up in any way for relegation. For other clubs they are kind of acclimatised towards it and will bounce back in a few seasons. With this current squad and manager we are going down and if that happens the players that would be left would struggle to get out of the championship
It's almost like the owner and board have accepted this and already looking to deflect blame - onto the fans. We are recalling loan players and only incoming players look like loan deals also.
