Everton have signed 19 year old Tyler Dibling from Southampton for an initial £35 million, plus another £5 million in add-ons.

That’s a lot of money for a teenager.

I saw him half a dozen times last year, I think he's going to be really good but not for a while. Reminds me a bit of very young Grealish for Villa before they got relegated and not just because of the socks - he's a lot faster though.

I think he'll be decent for Everton this season, but their best player in 3 years time.

I feel like Moyes is falling into his old trap of rescuing a club from relegationg, making them safe, assembling a squad that will exceed his ability as a manager in a year or 2 - same as West Ham, he's getting in good, exciting players, and the fans will slowly start thinking better managers will get more out of them.

Dear City, and everyone on here.

Can we please keep Jack.

Thanks

From a Happy Toffee

I reckon you'll get him for a decent price next summer. I know £50m has been quoted but I could see you getting him for less.

You've got a very good player there. I still think we were better with him in the side and control games less without him but for whatever reason he's not in our future plans. I think Everton is a good fit for him.

No city fan with begrudge him doing well there either, unless it's against us. No doubt he is a bit of a "jack the lad", no pun intended, but everyone's seen how he is with young fans. Your fans will love him.

Cheers mate

He is connecting with the fans already through social media. Nice to see him doing it. I see loads of kids wearing Everton shirts with his name on the back. It has started well, lets hope it continues. Of course, VAR are bound to find a way to send him off when we meet out neighbours.

Nice to get Dibling in as well. As a Toffee it seems odd to see players like him and Grealish actually wanting the ball ha ha. Early days, long way to go, but I feel a little more positive now.

Good luck to City in the coming season, unless you play us.

Rode our luck today. Came good towards the end.

We still mess up a lot. Start slow sometimes. But it is a lot better than it has been over the last few years. I don't expect miracles, but little steps we look like a team again. Mid table or snatch a place in Europe (Hopeful there). Just no more relegation dodges please!

Apologies upfront to Everton fans but seriously what is the point of Everton?
Got a draw that helped City win the league in 2012 and beat Liverpool one time. Apart from that it's been 30 years of nothingness
