It's been a good few years since I have been to Everton. Is taxi the best option? Do the plod still march everyone from Lime street to the ground?

Yea strongbow well it was £1.50 after liverpool game this year, think it might be called 'punch & judy' the pub

yeah, when you come out of the temporary entrance/exit (left as you come onto the concourse from the train) its straight across on the right. there will be a spar on your left.
