I can’t believe we’re top right now. Not at our best but deserved the win. I think Everton could get something against Liverpool if they play like that.

Jeez, there was some major league flapping on the match day thread. That was a tough game to be sure and Everton made us work for it. However, how many shots on goal did they have, how much possession did we have. In the second half we played a different game. We still had long periods of possession but we did it further back. Look at the amount of passing between the back four, Eddie and Fernandinho. It was pretty impressive imo.

Three big points tonight. Dippers make up game is the Rags away where they have a very good chance of losing. The title race is well and truly back on.
