That's one of the best wins we've had since the takeover imo. Everton played well today & would take some points off some top 4 teams with that performance, plus it's City & they always raise it for us.

Another very impressive 3 points! Was actually impressed with Navas, he and sagna seem to have good chemistry on that right flank just a shame Navas lacks any sort of quality on the ball. Kolarov is class aswell slowly becoming my favourite player, him and Sterling are giving full backs nightmare's

WOW never easy to get anything from there,but a very good performance with the odd scary moment thrown in.Then again it wouldn`t be City would it.David and Komps were superb and another fine display by Ferno.

The only weakness in our team is central midfield. We need our defenders to be superhuman due to the space we allow teams in the middle. But thankfully, Kolarov, Mangala, Vinnie and Sagna have indeed been superhuman. Great defending in all 3 matches so far.

Kompany, man of the match. Mangala solid and confident. Kolarov absolutely deadly and Sagna industrious. The defense looks so strong and seems that we are going back to the foundation of a strong defensive line as a basis for success and with what they have shown so far, it is going to be a great season. This was a champions-esque performance- tactical, intelligent, solid defensively and controlled the pace of the game. Great result and performance from the team.

Great team performance yet again, well worked first goal, suspect MP asked Sterling to play more on the inside second half and Kolarov to overlap, worked perfectly for the first in any case; beautiful finish from Nasri for the second.

We are looking very very difficult to live with all he way through the side this season...

Defending properly helps so much! Holding that line on the edge of the box, working up and down the line, keeping it narrow when we need to. We did fall off it a bit at the end of the first half, Managala was too tight to Lukaku, a bit too open in midfield...bit to start the game and all second half we were spot on. Managala took a step back from Lukaku and read the situation instead of getting sucked in and he was Ritter for it and we were much more disciplined in midfield.

After that the goals took care of themselves. We could have scored more. Navas had two golden chances! But we took two important chances, the second was a beautiful goal!

But it was about the way we defended again today.
