The 3rd kit actually looks very ' shiekh ' ish with the drape over the shoulder .
Not keen on black kits ( on the pitch ) but the blue one looks decent .
Certainly better than Uniteds Jockey looking efforts lol .

the "drape" as you call it is another classic design for us

I take it your not old enough to realise that it's simply a variated rendition of the 70's Crystal Palace kits , with an alternative shoulder .
Not trying to be funny saying that , but if you want to throw ' classic design for us ' at me , then that's ok too .

Two variations. One was white with a red and navy sash, and the other was navy with a red and white sash. I had both of them; two great looking kits!

Umbro used it on the Palace home kits a few years later . It was on your away kit as above .

We used that design years before Palace started using it. I've never understood how Palace ended up using our kit.

Palace had it from 76 on their home kits , and funnily enough , used it again last year .
