I also read today that some poor blue has committed suicide and his family are trying to organise a clap in the 29th minute this weekend. As sad as that is there must be many blues who die every week. We can't clap at a certain minute every week. I didn't mind for the lad who died recently as he was clearly a fanatic but it should not be every week.

Daft decision made by people wanting attention, like other have posted who played our national anthem after the London attack? Was the American national anthem played at each match after 9/11. We did our bit for France at Wembley, dont forget that there were a number of countries that lost citizens in these attacks and so if there is to be a tribute it should be something that can be linked with all Europe not just France.

Firstly we can't keep clapping for a fellow blues who has just died as so very sad as it is, we will end up clapping all the game, I think the boxing day rememberance is enough, and yes I have lost someone close this last year my dad.
Now the French national anthem, don't agree with it we did it tuesday to honour them also I thought I read there were 17 nationalities that were killed we can't play them all, a minutes silence is enough.

As much as we all have sympathy, any action that attempts to signify paying a mark of respect must be fit for purpose; sadly 50,000 Mancunians and 3000 Liverpudlians attempting to mumble the words to the Marseillaise is not best fit!

Most would struggle to sing God save the Queen effectively; in short this has got farcical stamped all over it!

And of course when the cameras zoom in and most are stood silent or at best mumbling, it will be reported as football supporters not showing support. All of this of course because some office bound do-gooder has come up with a completely I'll firing concept just to catch his bosses eye no doubt.

Like many have said, it's more pointing out which countries we do/don't like we won't be playing the Russian national anthem after that plane crash or Turkey or Palestine or Afghanistan or anywhere else.
Its like the PL want to one up what the FA and England did on Tuesday trying to compete for the 'who cares more' trophy.

We had enough difficulty after Best died. Still can't get over us being blamed for ruining that one. Scouse cnuts.

Imho an overdone attempt by the Premier League to show the world that it knows what happens besides football. Can't resist thinking it's more to try about getting more members ...
