Everybody HATES us? merged

Re: Everyone hates us.........FACT!

It has surprised me somewhat with the overwhelming feeling of hatred and distaste towards the signing of Kaka. Personally as we are City fans the ups and down have become part and parcel of the experience and anything else would be dull.

I personally believe if say Kaka went to West Ham I would love watching West Ham more and it would enhance the spectacle that is the Premier League.

It is a sad state of affairs where football is purely viewed on a business side rather than for the love of the game and seeing players at the top of their profession giving a performance to behold.

How many of these tawts that hate us wouldnt swop places with us, it boils down to jealousy and fuck all else, what a time to be a BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Everyone hates us.........FACT!

Good post actually, the last thing we need now is fighting amongst ourselves when we have common "enemies" so to speak (pretty much everyone who isn't a City fan).

We need to rally and get behind our team and manager.

I took a tour around a few oppo forums a few hours ago, and some of the comments are bizarre, the mild ones are along the lines of, "I hope they get relegated now" and "I used to quite like City, but I hate the punts now". I'm not sure what we've actually done. Some of them have the really queer idea that when someone buys a Bentley, the price of Fords goes up, or when someone pops into a restaurant for a filet minion, two doors down, the donner man increases the price of a large by 1000% in response. I said this yesterday, but I'm not sure how City being interested in 0.00000001% of the world's players, is going to affect the price of the 99.999999999% they are not interested in. I suppose when Everton next make a decent bid for a player from...Villa, Villa will jack the price up to 50m because what any seller will instinctively do when they have a buyer is raise the price of the good so the buyer will walk and they won't make a sale.

The point made by Samuel doesn't seem to have sunk in: it's fun. Football should be fun, and it hasn't been much fun for most clubs for years now, clubs who are nothing more than cannon-fodder for the Sky Bore Four, just there to make up the numbers. You'd think the possibility of Kaka, Villa, Eto'o, Messi (who knows, the future?)...coming to play in England might make them cheer, just from a love of the game. Say what you like, but our Arabs aren't proposing to bring the best in the world to France or Holland are they? Of course opposition fans couldn't possibly see anything positive for them in any of this. Do you think if it goes according to plan a few more oppo fans might show up when City play away? No? Well, I suppose not.

You know, I'd love it, love it if some other Arabs bought Everton, fucking love to see the Toffees and Moyes given a huge bag of cash, get that stadium issue sorted out and all. It'd be great, bloody great if Newcastle could actually get some real multi-billionaire to buy Ashley out. I think it'd be great if Hammers fans didn't have to fret about problems with the FA and huge fines, selling players to get by, if they were bought by some immense Japanese corporation...

...and I don't think I'd do what everyone so predictably does: make snide digs at clueless foreigners who know nothing about football, and round it off with some crap about "what will Hammers fans do when their owners get bored with their plaything and move on." They don't really think that will happen (and it won't, but then again, they don't know our Arabs they way know our Arabs, so they just objectify and stereotype them again and again)...they want it to happen, and for why? It's fucking telling the way some peoples minds work that to be happy they have to see someone else miserable.

The Arabs are actually going to end up helping the PL remain at the front of the worlds football leagues. They don't care, you'd think the Arabs were responsible for the construction of Bergen-Belsen, the Rape of Nanking, and the Katyn Forest massacre to hear some of the rubbish.

Frankly, it's some of the things said about our Arabs that are pissing me off the most. There's a certain tone to some of it...
