I noticed I missed Adam Clayton starting for Doncaster Rovers in League 2 when I watched the football league show.

Then there were the likes of all the players involved on Sunday like Sancho, Kelechi etc…

Then all the ones plying their trades abroad such as Fofana, Schemeichel etc.

Good point, yeah I guess hes excluded as he is considered a senior player now with the loan moves etc he has had.

Not sure about the tweet's worth - Lots of players are given a 'soft debut', usually a few minutes late in a match, well before they're ready for a full game.

Whether it's a bit of a reward, a motivator to give them a taste of what they could achieve etc., it's been going on for years, and is probably more common now the standard of the league is so high that most players won't break through till they're a little bit older.

More than half the players in the full list only made one appearance, which means that even if they go on to make 5+ appearances next season, they won't be on this list due to a 5 minute "charity sub" appearance this year.
