Give over, they will have already worked out a return date. If you can spit through a car window at a young girl and get you TV job back this wont harm his career.
My main point though is the headline of this article. Saunders hasn't been let off. The courts decided the sentence was too harsh, they may be wrong but he hasn't been let off. Why should we the taxpayer spend thousands of pounds a week to keep this knob in jail ? What he did was disgraceful but I am not sure jail is the correct place for him.

Why should we the taxpayer spend thousands of pounds a week to keep this knob in jail ? What he did was disgraceful but I am not sure jail is the correct place for him.

Totally agree. Why not Tag him so he cannot go out during the evenings at weekends ? He does the Community Service and then has to stay in. That way it is similar to a prison sentence just not costing the taxpayer thousands.
Spot on, crime of any type ruins communities, taking their liberty away be it prison for the habitual and serious criminals and the tagged version for the likes of Saunders are serious punitive punishments.Totally agree. How many presenters at talkshite have been done in one way or another for drink driving or other offences. Why are they all still employed by them.

The only positive is that the others accepted their guilt and punishment whereas Suanders tried to squirm his way out of it from start to finish.

clearly if it was somebody like you or me from the jo public you are doing bird and 2 year driving ban and a big fine and court cost, everything would be used and even your our lawyers would be saying admit to the crime and take the reduce sentence
