Excited when they signed but turned out to be rubbish

Dave Bacuzzi came from Arsenal a seemed like a good player but never really delivered. Arthur Mann came in from Hearts and also made little impression.

The mid late 1960s team did seem to have a problem with full backs to replace Barrie Betts and Cliff Sear. They ended up with doing without full backs for much of the time with Tony Book playing as sweeper on occasions and Glyn Pardoe in the number 3 shirt was more of a midfielder (not unlike Zinchenko or even Cancelo now). Bobby Kennedy, another midfielder would also play a lot at full back.
Earliest city memories for me. Vic Gomersal was another, Bacuzzi"s understudy , and a wing half/ defender type Mike 'fatty' Batty I also remember.
