Exeter City (H) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

I was living down south when we beat Huddersfield, still kept my season ticket and my brother used it when I couldn’t get up.
Was back home for the Huddersfield game and was all set for a day out with our kid. Because he had to pay he was piss arsing about all morning waiting for me to say that I would pay for him. Eventually I told him to fuck off and met up with mates in town. Found out that he hadn’t used the ticket all season! Lent it out from then on when I couldn’t use it to a mates nephew. My brother has been dead 8 years this year and I reckon he wouldn’t have gone today either.

Well it has been 39 years please forgive me

"I'm sorry it was 39 years ago. The highlights were on ITV"

An anecdote to that is I got home asked my mum to set the video to record the highlights
I went to my then girlfriends, stayed over, got home the next afternoon and mum said "was it really important that the game was taped?"
"Did you forget?"
"No, your Dad has taped over it, but only the first four goals"

Just got home, and loved that today. The hunger of those younger lads in the second half. Semenyo going to be a big signing, great assist and so cool for his goal. McAidoo was excellent, so positive, and a good goal. I thought Nico was also excellent when he moved into midfield. Was directing the play. Can’t believe I’ve seen two 10-1’s now in my lifetime. Full credit to the lads tonight, just so impressed with the hunger and determination to get the tenth. It really does look good for the future with all these young lads.

What I found strange was Pep bringing on Silva(and Doku to a lesser degree) when we were 6-0 in front. Should they both of been rested, what with all these games coming up? Or did Pep still think the game was in the balance:) it just felt unnecessary in my most humble of opinions.
Probably a bit of psychology - get them on the pitch to have played a small part in a WINNING team.
