Wasn’t expecting that score but good to see a respectful and professional display against a lower league side that has been doing quite well.

With our injury issues, nice to see players get a bit of a rest while Newcastle play an extra 30.

I hope the academy lads continue to be given a chance. The £100 million academy bearing fruit again. Well played all the blues today...its a shame Newcastle having to play an extra half an hour atm. Delighted Max, Rico, Antione, Nico, Tijani & R. Macaidoo scored along with a belter from Rodri...hope he didnt pick up an injury as suggested on the match thread.

Liked the desire to keep going, fueled by the kids eager to impress. As I said pre-match, we really didnt need to go that strong, our entire eds team would have won convincingly too but enjoyable to see us score 10 nevertheless. Hopefully no injuries and some good confidence ahead of a tough and busy schedule.
