So sad for the young families. Well done to the police and service men and members of the general public who helped out. Was a very strange mood in town today as you would expect.
It's just cause it is being treated as an "ongoing attack" until they know the facts.I'm taking it literally as i think most people do
I think that mood was the same across the country, certainly was subdued here in South Wales,So sad for the young families. Well done to the police and service men and members of the general public who helped out. Was a very strange mood in town today as you would expect.
The threat level going up is scary, critical level, stay safe everyone
The JTAC definition of Critical is "An attack is expected imminently", as agreed with ACPO for use by the civil police and national agencies
This. Anyone suggesting differently is talking out of their arse.

Yep, MAY be imminent. It's not based on actual intelligence, it says the reason why in the next paragraph... because they haven't been able to confirm if he was a lone wolf. I get that we're scared, we're panicky, but the raising of the terror threat level is not as ominous as it sounds. We'd rather it wasn't at critical though, absolutely - goes without saying.Just in case there's any doubt about what was reported. Note the quote from May.

The UK terror threat level has been raised to its highest level of "critical", meaning further attacks may be imminent, Theresa May has said.
