If it's a major pre-planned attack it's the first since the tube and bus bombings in London. Fair enough there was the attack on Westminster bridge earlier in the year but you can't really plan for someone with a few knives and a car.

I always think there would never be an incident at the etihad, you just don't want to believe something like that would happen. Yet this arena is full of young kids, absolute wankers.

We were talking about this on another thread yesterday, while it's so easy to get flares, hip flasks etc into games there's a serious risk of an incident at one. Won't stop me going to a game as you can't let incidents like this affect your life or decision making but it's worrying all the same.
