If it was in London I'd still be as shocked. Something like that hasn't happened in the uk for a long time.

If it's a major pre-planned attack it's the first since the tube and bus bombings in London. Fair enough there was the attack on Westminster bridge earlier in the year but you can't really plan for someone with a few knives and a car.

Yes I understand that, and its also my city, even though I live 170 miles away these days. I feel just as bad when its Paris, or Brussels, or Berlin. My son lives in Manchester now so its close to me, though I know he's not involved.

Dashcam on sky news, that explosion was loud even over his car radio :(

If you look to the left of that dashcam video you can see Victoria station glow orange just before you hear the bang

Saw a dashcam clip that caught the sound of the explosion. I can't think of any structure in the foyer to make such a big sound, unless it was beneath ground?
