Explosion at MEN Arena/Victoria Station

ISIS would claim responsibility when this site goes down after a defeat.

They're full of shit. A bunch of people living in caves and abandoned buildings in the Middle East and getting smashed to pieces by the Iraqi Army every day in Mosul. They don't have the logistical capabilities for something like this. Instead they claim these attacks to keep their name in the papers and in the minds of decent folk, and the press lap it up like the sensationalising lapdogs that they are.
I agree. But on the point of logistical capabilities for something like this, wasn't it essentially a guy just strolling up to the Arena foyer? It's not like they had to plan much. I find that incredibly scary. Unless we start doing security checks on every street corner, this seems extremely difficult to stop, and if anything, very easy for the terrorists to actually do? What are the complex logistics?

Bomb was a 'home-made device'

Some more information has emerged about the bomb used by the attacker in the Manchester Arena attack.

Police have said it was a "home-made" improvised explosive device.

Witnesses have told the BBC there were nuts and bolts packed into the bomb.
That's the only way they can make them.... its where they get the know how.

Still struggling to comprehend last night's events and the sheer brutality of targeting children. Truly heartbreaking.

I was at a secondary school today where 14 of the pupils had been at the concert last night, and they looked utterly shell-shocked. Thankfully no-one from the school had been injured, but obviously other schools in the area might not have been as lucky. Can't imagine what their parents are going through today.

I've also been working in a secondary school today. Trying to teach a session on of all things mental toughness and resilience. Obviously very little of my usual lesson was carried out. Where the hell do you start when you get asked by 12 & 13 year olds about what is going on??

I'd Like to say I'm relieved the death toll hasn't risen further as yet. This must be a testament to the quick response and excellent care of our emergency services and those already on the scene who helped

They'd have to send messages unmonitored from a hole in the ground in Iraq to Manchester including instructions, planning, fail safe systems, codewords, safehouses, etc.

I know a lot about British intelligence services and how they work and they'd eat that sort of shit for breakfast.

ISIS have reached a ridiculous par with the illuminati.

Seems to me that they're raiding all the people in the area they have previously looked at.
